The Rames-Bender Post 152 held its annual Memorial Day service at the Menno Cemetery.  Pastor Weber was the main speaker, Tom Ulmer sang two songs, Elizabeth Hertz played two songs on the bag pipes, and the Menno High School band furnished the music.  The Color Guard consisted of: Lee Herrboldt, Bill Headley, Bob Rennolet, Ken Aisenbrey, Johan Stokes, and Larry Kirschenman.  Marscha Schelske and Rachel Stokes were present with the Color Guard for the Auxilliary.  The Firing Squad consisted of:  Larry Stern, Jerome Hoff, Bob Rennolet, Terry Auch, Lynn Ulmer, Johan Stokes, Jim Opplinfwe, Daryl Mehlhaf, and Jerry Nusz (Sergeant-at-Arms).  The Buglers were Paul Schaeffer and Jake Mettler.
