The Rames-Bender Post 152 sponsored the 34th Annual 4th of July Parade, which is very successful because it attracts floats and marchers from miles around. Because July 4th landed on a Sunday, the parade and all other activities were held on Monday, July 5th. After the parade, the Legion post sponsored an Open House and Dance, which featured the East River Cowboys for entertainment. The post also had a raffle which gave out $450 worth or prizes.
