For decades our area has been a traditonal hunting and fishing community. And, up until the early 1980's our local school district had competition rifle activities but was eliminated for a cnumber of reasons. Within the past 3 years a group of parents assembled a youth trap team. The parents attained NRA certification, taught the youth safe and responsible shotgun and ammunition handling, and instilled good order and discipline. All 3 years team members have progressed to the State and National level competition.
