Shinglehouse Post 530 makes annual donations to any High School senior that has committed to joining the military service. The awardees are presented with the donation follwoing their graduation from boot camp. The Post's intent is that the donation is used to help transport their parents and family to their boot camp garduation. It's been very well received.
The Post also supports a local quilters club from the senior center that make quilts for wounded warriors visting the area for hunting and fishing events.
