American Legion Post 223 recently gave a check for $150.00 to Rebecca Laubs, winner of the Legion's essay contest. "What is the American Legion and what does it do as an organization?" Pictured with Laubs is Post Commander Richard Guyer, left and Leroy "Buzz" Martin, essay chairman and junior vice commander. Rebecca also won the Cumberland County American Legion Essay Contest, She also won Districts and is advancing to the State Competition.
