Death Benefit Reinstated

When the New Post was Built in 2003 the Death Benefit for members was discontinued with the understanding that when the building was paid for the Death Benefit would be reinstated. At the Post meeting on Feb. 6 2014 it was brought to the attention of the post that the previous motion had never been fulfilled. It was unanimously decided that a committee be formed to investigate and put together a new plan for this benefit. The committee consisted of Barry Johnson, Dave Linn, Gary Robinson and Guy Hayslett. Together they came up with new guidelines for the Death Benefit. The name was changed from Death Benefit to The Memorial Fund. It was decide that it would go into effect June 1, 2014.
