Honoring a true patriot

American Legion Post 223 Commander Dick Guyer and the Post Sgt at Arms presents Ginny Lopez, social studies teacher at the Shippensburg High School, a certificate of appreciation and a dozen red roses for her support of the community veterans and the U.S military. Ginny has been organizing a Veterans Day program for the past eight years which includes a breakfast and a patriotic program. American Legion Post 223 thought it was time to recognize her for efforts that she puts into this program and to say thank you on behalf of the community veterans.
