Hometown heros

American Legion Post 223 members and the Post Honor Guard (Minutemen) participate in the Shippensburg Hometown Hero program. The program was sponsored by the Shippensburg High School Athletic Association and held at the Shippensburg Veterans Memorial Park. The event is to recognize all military and all first responders of Shippensburg.
