Shippensburg's American Legion Post 223 presented a check for $850 to the Penn State Mont Alto Veterans Club for a veterans memorial on the Mont Alto Campus. The proposed project is a 40-foot -tall flag pole, bronze plaque, ground floodlighting and paver blocks. dedication of this Memorial is planned for Veterans Day in November. Presenting the check left to right Post Commander Dick Guyer, Brian Hall President of the Student Veterans Club, and Bob Traylor board president.
