Public Relations Award

American Legion Department awards are designed to encourage posts, districts and counties to improve their public/media relations activities by working with local media. Department Media awards are given to media for outstanding efforts covering local activities of the American Legion on a regular basis. several American Legion posts thru out the state, including American Legion Post 223, submitted their local media for this award. The winner was announced at the 92nd annual convention in Harrisburg held July 15 thru July 18. The Shippensburg News Chronical won first place.
