Essay Winner

Shippensburg Area Senior High School junior Austin Marzullo was named the winner of both the Shippensburg American Legion Post 22e essay contest and the Cumberland County-wide essay contest. His essay on this year's topic, "Is the Stimulus Package Worthwhile,": will next be in consideration for the district contest that includes winners from Cumberland, Lebanon and Dauphin counties. This year marks the 75th Pennsylvania American Legion essay contest. Austin was presented a check from Post 223 Commander Dick Guyer with Leroy Martin, essay chairman, on left.
