American Legion Post 223 Commander Dick Guyer to the right and Post Chaplain Tommy Everett presents two 5'x9' American flags to the Sounds of America orchestra and choral group consisting of students from all over the United States. The presentation was made at the Elizabethtown College during the bon voyage concert before taking their European tour. On their tour of Europe one of their stops is at the Luxembourg Cemetery where they properly retire the old American flags and replace them with the flags from Post 223. General George S. Patton's gravesite is located near the new flags. This is the second year in a row that these flags came from Post 223.
