Ken Coleman Honored

Newburg native and member of the American Legion Minutemen Honor Guard was honored for his service to God, Country, Community and for his service to the Minutemen since 1947. Ken was drafted at the age of 18 during World War 11. Ken served with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS LSM 151 in the South Pacific, serving during wartime. Ken's father Llyod was a war veteran and his grandfather, Samuel Hoover served in the Civil War and is buried in Newburg.
