Flag donation

American Legion Past Commander Tom Everett (far right) presented six flags and one banner flag, along with poles and brackets, to Grace B. Luhrs Elementary School. Accepting the flags were, from left, Phillip Diller, school director; Bennett Swartz, second grade; David Lovett, kindergarten; Paige Ezell, first grade; Anna Burnhisel, third grade; Emily Harpster, fourth grade; and Jennifer Merrel, fifth grade. Each classroom will have an identical American flag and the banner will hang in the multipurpose room.
