The Death Benefits of $150.00 each was paid to the beneficiaries of Michael Noel and Lane Reinemann. A $25.00 donation was made to Department Headquarters for Operation Santa Claus and a full page ad was taken in the Cumberland County Council booklet at a cost of $50.00.

The Death Benefits of $150.00 each was paid to the beneficiaries of Joesph Sherman, Robert C. Weaver and Gordon T. Woltz. A donation of $500.00 was approved for the Jr. American Legion Baseball Team.

Leroy Martin reported that two boys entry fees has been paid to attend state Police Youth Week and six boys indicated that they wish to attend keystone Boys State.
The Post made another donation to the Jr. American Legion Baseball team in the amount of $2570.00.

Special Meeting was called to order by Commander Sowers for the purpose to authorize a committee to pursue and obtain costs of said building ( A&P Grocery Store) for a new Post Home and after much discussion of prices $225,000.00 to $275,000.00 for the store and appraised value of the current Legion Post Home set at $175,000.00 a vote was taken to purchase the store. 24 votes aye and 26 votes nay.
