The death Benefits of $150.00 each was paid to the beneficiaries of George W. Besore, John T. Alexander, Donald E. Clippinger, George W. B. Hinkle and Merle G. Kuhn.
Motion was approved to send two boys to State Police Youth Week at a cost of $160.00 and that medals would be purchased at a cost of $105.11 for the ROTC Awards Program.

A payment of $153.69 was made for the post sponsored Scotland School for Veterans Children's spring dance. A Payment of $35.50 was made to the Jr. American Legion Baseball Team for uniform patches. It was announced that Dodie Strayer would represent the Post 223 in the Shippensburg Annual Fair Queen Contest.

The Death Benefits of $150.00 each was paid to the beneficiaries of john Walters and Paul Fogelsonger.
A $150.00 donation was made to the Girls Softball Team and a donation of $10.00 was donated to Camille Girosky for participating in The Hands Across America Celebration.

The Death Benefit of $150.00 was paid to the beneficiary of Roy Basore and $45.00 was donated to the Girls Softball Team.
