Baseball patches were purchased for the American Legion Baseball team at a cost of $29.25.
A donation of $25.00 was given to Operation Santa Clause and a full page ad was purchased for the Cumberland County Council booklet.
The expenditures for the American legion Baseball team was in the amount of $1249.00 which included entry fees, Insurance for the players, transportation to Middeltown Tournament, umpire fees, batting helmets, shin guards, catcher's mitt, new bats, field white, caretaker fees, and usage fees for the lights.

An American flag was donated to the Walnut Bottom Fire Company.
$120.00 for fees would be paid for the post bowling tournament
April 1,1982
$25.00 was donated to the Midget Football Team and a Death Benefit of $150.00 was paid to the beneficiary of Russell Buckles.
May 28, 1982
A $30.00 donation was made to the Little League for a sign at the field and a Death Benefit of $150.00 was paid to the beneficiary of Richard Fogelsanger.
June 5, 1982
$20.30 was paid to William Burkhart for a tool he had made to help in placing flags on veterans graves.
$100 was donated to the Shippensburg Veterans Council and $25.00 was donated to the 19th District of the American Legion to help pay for a band at Department State Convention.

Death Benefits were paid to the beneficiaries of W.B. Brown, R.C. Reath and H. Swartz.
October 7, 1982
Death Benefits of $150.00 each was paid to the beneficiaries of Arthur Baldoni and Reuben Martin.
Ralph Thompson the manager of the Jr American Legion Baseball team was given the authority to have the All Star baseball playoff games of 1983 to be held in the Shippensburg area if possible.
Midget Football Team would be given new jerseys with the post name and number on them.
December 2, 1982
Death Benefits of $150.00 each was paid to the beneficiaries of James Monos, Jesse Durff, Carl Piper and Hazel E. Fogelsonger.
A full page ad was placed in the Cumberland County Booklet at a cost of $40.00
