A thermal oxygen tent with regulator was purchased at a cost of $99.50 by the Oscar M. Hykes Post for the C.V. Hose Company.
Service Officer Bailey was instructed to furnish spending money to the two Mooney children in the Scotland School as he judged wise during the year.

a drill team to be known as the Minute Men of the American Legion was organized in December with B.W Brechbiel, chairman and executive officer, and Glen Rotz as drill master.
The post distributed 83 gift baskets of groceries to needy families in the Shippensburg community the day before Christmas.
