Gold engraved life membership cards bearing the Legion emblem were purchased for all the post's past commanders and awarded as tribute of respect for these Legionaires.
Oct. 1946
The Sons of the Legion Drum and Bugle corps was revived and put on a stable basis with a donation of $500.00 from the Legion Post. A donation of $100.00 was made by the Legion Auxiliary.
Nov. 1946
Comrade Charles Koontz was named chairman of the post's basket ball team and a team was organize which competed in local play during the winter months.
