October, 1939
It was decided to have the annual turkey fair Friday evening November 17th and Monday evening November 20th.
Commander Goodhart said he was going to present the Public School with a new flag in the name of the Legion; he also said there were one hundred schools in the county and only ten were flying American flags
It was discussed we the Legion draw up a resolution to the Department of Public School Education urging them to furnish schools with flags and Bibles. No action was taken.
