American Legion Post 141 is looking for your patriotic donation.

The post is collecting old and used cellphones to donate to Cell Phones for Soldiers, an organization dedicated to providing deployed troops with calling cards so that they can call home to their loved ones. Both the American Legion and Cell Phones for Soldiers are nonprofit organizations with a main purpose to support the men and women of the Armed Forces.

All phone donations, regardless of condition, will be greatly appreciated and used for the purpose of allowing more service members to speak with their families. To help, bring old and used cell phones to American Legion Post 141, 534 Philadelphia St., in Indiana. Contribution receipts are available upon request for tax purposes.

For more information, contact Wesley Wertz, chair of the Cell Phones for Soldiers Committee. Wertz is a United States Army veteran and employee of the American Legion.
