In November 1920, Post 4 applied for its permanent charter. The members of Percy A. Stevens Post 4 submitted the paperwork. The officers submitting the application for the permanent charter were Commander: L. W. Gatchell, Adjutant: Earl B. Houston, Treasurer: Frank R. Prince, Employment Officer: Chas W.
