October 26, 1975 was the first installation of permanent officers for Aloha Post 104. They held installation at the Aloha Grange on 185th and Alexander. The first Commander was Ed Nylund and the first Adjutant was Bob Lanyon.

Department of Oregon Commander Ed Stack, Department Adjutant Ron Dressen, and District Commander Holly Nunnenkamp attended the installation. Following the installation, they presented Aloha Post 104 with their permanent charter. Dues were $12.50.

In the beginning they held Post meetings in Post Members homes. Then Holly Nunnenkamp arranged to hold meetings at the recreation hall at the Aloha Mobile Manor Trailer Court. The Trailer Court was across the street from the present Post location. That location is now a retail market center with many local businesses.
