For the past two years, Hennessy-Cunningham Post 259 has donated all proceeds from Memorial Poppy Sales to help support the Hyperbaric Chamber research for victims of TBI and PTSD at Oklahoma State University/Tulsa Campus. The funds donated by Post 259 have provided all the necessary oxygen cylinders to support the full 80 treatment regimen for 160 patients being treated through Hyperbaric research techniques for TBI and PTSD. The vast majority of those being treated are COMBAT VETERANS, directly affected by blast injury or other concussive events. Plans are underway by Post 259 to duplicate the effort in 2015, and designate proceeds once again to the Oklahoma State University Research Facility.
