Post Building In Ruins, Community Rallies For Veterans Again

The damage from the roof collapse was hard to believe! It was a terrible sight to behold and this event shocked everyone in Collinsville. Thanks to the people of Collinsville and City Leadership the task of saving this historic building was undertaken, and the results were breathtaking. The original building was about a two year project. Initial cost estimates were around $7,500 and the final cost was estimated to be near $25,oo0. The renovation project spanned right at four years to complete at an approximate cost of $700,000.
