On May 16th, 2019 American Legion Post 2 moved their official location from 903 W. Main Street to 15637 N. 137th E. Avenue.
This move was made in a spirit of co-operation and support with the VFW Post, in an effort to reduce the operating costs and be able to offer enhanced services to members of both organizations, as well as providing one central location for the community's veterans to reach out to when in need of assistance.
It has proved very successful in that regard, and has strengthened both the organizations' positions and perception within the community, as they work together for veterans.
