During the 1960's things were good, and all was well with the American Legion and VFW carry-ing on as usual with dances, dinners, and all sorts of civic/community activities taking place at the posts.

During the 70's and 80's things began to change a little. New members were in short supply and the membership was getting a little long in the tooth.

By the time the 90's arrived eligable veterans had become a rare commodity, and membership was in decline.

Our home was showing it's age as well, and it was becoming more difficult to find the funds to maintain and operate the post.
