Hanner-Sharp American Legion Post 129 built a building in 1925 and borrowed money to get it done. Located on Main Street in Stillwater, Oklahoma the new Post 129 building was designed to be self supporting with businesses it could rent out and a ball room dance floor on the second floor.
A quilt was created with people paying to have their signatures on the quilt. Once finished the quilt was auctioned off to pay off the building.
