Barbra was a student attending the Children’s Home and was sponsored by The American Legion Auxiliary and Legion Post 129, Stillwater, OK. The Marland Children’s Home, formerly known as the American Legion Children’s Home, has been in existence since 1928. Proceeds from the sale of the books go to the Marland Children’s Home in Ponca City, OK.
Barbra was an alumnus of the Children’s Home and writes inspiring true stories about living in the American Legion Children's Home.
