Ken Hageman also played in the Post 326 Marching Band (See Band and Colors). Bill Britt, USA, WWII, Phillipines, Mr. Britt was owner operator of Ben Franklin Store in Shelby, 1948 and working until he passed in 2002. Joe Miller in hardware sales, became the owner of Mansfield Hardware & Supply Co., now owned by his children. Joe Black, USN, WWII, Trained at Great Lakes, stationed at Pearl Harbor after the Attack. Retired from the Shelby Mutual Insurance Company. Gene Gates, Army WWII, served as a First Lieutenant, was a member of Post 326, moving to Florida in 1959 where he was co-owner of G&D Printing.
