Lynn Tomlinson was first elected Department Historian in 2013-14. The Department History for 2013-14 was awarded National's Toomey Award for best overall history. She continued to serve as Historian through 2016-2017. The 2015-16 and 2016-17 Department Histories were also awarded the Toomey Award.
