Carrie Heinz served as ALA Department President in 2008-2009. Carrie's theme was ALA, Veterans Best Friend with puppies as her symbol. As Department President she was a member of Rolette's Unit 194. Upon transferring her membership to Unit 235 Carrie was elected unit secretary. Carrie served as District 3 President from 2003-05 and was re-elected in 2005 to serve until 2007 but being elected Department Vice President in 2006 had to relinquish the District 3 Presidency. In 2007-08 she was Department President Elect and Department Membership Chairman. In 2006-07 she was also Americanism Chairman.
