The Mervin J. Armstrong Post #113 Auxiliary was organized on January 19th, 1926 with the first meeting being held at the First National Bank Building. There were 25 charter members: Mrs J.B. Armstrong, Carroll E. Cole, Mrs W.A. Eiden, Mrs Peter Falstad, Mrs H.H. Hagen, Mrs O.H. Hoffman, Mrs F.B. Kimbell, Mrs Soren Krag, Mary Armstrong, Mrs Sverre Rice, Mrs Frank Schnar, Mrs Andrew Wall, Thelma Richardson, Amanda Larson, Mrs B.M. Lunde, Mrs Chas Michaelson, Mrs O.A. Otteson, Mrs David Palm, Lizzie Richardson, Mrs C.F. Wait, ellen Johnson, Mrs O.T. Harris, Erma Armstrong, Mrs Carl Heyerdahl, Mrs Chas Christopherson, Christine Johnson, and Mrs Frank Carmon.
The following officers were elected at the first meeting:
