On November 12th, 2023 St. Matthew AME Church held a Veterans Recognition program for the members of the church. Charles T. Norwood American Legion Post 157 members were asked along side the Veterans of the Church to participate and be recognized. CPT. Aaron A. Dunn Presented the Veterans of St. Matthew AME Church and the members of The Charles T. Norwood American Legion Post 157 with a Military Freedom Coin. Each Veteran received a Military Appreciation Freedom Coin with the encryption that read, ( I am forever grateful for your service and your sacrifice).
