
The Memorial Day Service was held on May 26, 2025, at Carolina Biblical Gardens Cemetery in Raleigh, North Carolina. It started with the procession of members, guest and Auxiliary member marching into their seating positions. L to R: James Langston Post Commander, Honorable Glenn M. The Honorable Glenn M. McNeill, Jr. was nominated by President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., confirmed by the United States Senate, and appointed on December 9, 2022, to serve as the United States Marshal (USM) for the Eastern District of North Carolina. A military veteran, United States Marshal McNeill joined the North Carolina State Highway Patrol in 1993, where he served in various positions starting as a Trooper, multiple assignments within the Special Operations Section, and as a Task Force Officer with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Rising through the ranks to ultimately leading the Special Operations Unit as its Troop Commander, United States Marshal McNeill was promoted to Major in 2014. In this position, he served as Director of Training and afforded the opportunity to oversee the administration of the State Highway Patrol Training Academy. In 2017, United States Marshal McNeill was appointed by the Governor of North Carolina as the Commander of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
