The Memorial Day Service was held May 27, 2024, at Carolina Biblical Gardens Cemetery in Raleigh, North Carolina. To Honor our fallen military heroes, those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. The Post members flagged the graves of veterans interred at Carolina Biblical Gardens Cemetery with the American flag. The graves of veterans interred at the Raleigh National Cemetery in Raleigh, North Carolina, where a Wreath and the American flag was placed at the gravesite of the Post’s namesake PVT Charles T. Norwood. The Memorial Day Address was given by the guest speaker, Cleaola Davis, Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army Retired. Special Thanks to the Carolina Biblical Garden Staff and the Post 157 Auxiliary for their hospitality and providing the food and refreshments. Thanks to the family members and friends that attended the event.
