Pender Street Park is a small park in the College Park neighborhood of East Raleigh. This park is known by many in the neighborhood as “John Stokes Garden.”
This park was renovated in 2022 and is now open to the public. The renovated Pender Street Park features a short walkway, seatwalls, and a small picnic area.
John Stokes worked hand in hand with residents of the College Park community to clear the land, remove trash, and transform it into a garden.
