The Memorial Day Service will be held on May 25, 2026. Memorial Day (originally known as Decoration Day) is a federal holiday in the United States dedicated to honoring and mourning the military personnel who have perished while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Prior to the service on May 21, 2026, the post members, with the support of Boyer Consistory #219 A.A.S.R. PHA, Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School Head Coach Edwin Campbell, Assistant Coach Carlos McCain, and some football team members, assisted with flagging the graves of veterans interred at Carolina Biblical Gardens Cemetery in Raleigh NC with the American flag. The retrieval of the American flags by the post members was scheduled for May 27, 2026.
