The Raleigh Midtown Kiwanis Wake County Boys & Girls Club kicked off its 6th Annual Kickball Tournament on March 30, 2026.

The Charles T. Norwood American Legion Post 157 and Legionnaire Patricia Harris, Founder and Executive Director of Women Veterans Support Services, Incorporated, were among the many sponsors who made this year’s event possible.

Kiwanis is a worldwide group of volunteers who are committed to making the world a better place, one child and one community at a time.

The Kiwanis family of clubs boasts over 600,000 adult and youth members in more than 80 countries, all of whom participate in regular meetings, service projects, and fundraising activities.

This year’s event took place at both the Raleigh's Boys and Girls Club fields, where five local Boys & Girls Clubs—Fox Road, Raleigh, Washington Elementary, Wake Forest, and Zebulon—joined in for some fun, exercise, and to raise awareness about Boys & Girls Clubs. Midtown Kiwanis Club members were on hand to engage directly with the kids, offering face painting, lunch, and kickball. The Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club proudly continued their reign as the champions for the sixth consecutive year!
