Installation of Post Officers 2025 - 2026

       On June 7th, 2025 the post meeting was called to order, and the order of business was conducted to include a ceremony for the Installation of Post Officers. The Installing Officer was Legionnaire Patricia Harris, Alternate National Executive Committeeman, Past District Commander, Past Department Commander, Past Post 124 (Apex) First Vice Commander and Past Post 157 Commander, conducted the ceremony. We were honored to have Ms. Keytahna Kelly and Mr. Ramon Harsfield close friends of 1st Vice Commander Gabriel Carr in attendance.

      The Installing Officer, Legionnaire Patricia Harris, preformed the swearing in of the newly elected / reelected officers. She took control of the meeting informed Legionnaire Lloyd Dunn acting Sergeant-at-arms to bring forward newly elected officers to be installed / reinstalled. She read the Oath of Office to the newly elected officers as they took the pledge to perform faithfully and impartially the duties of the office in The American Legion that they assume.

     The Installing Officer, Legionnaire Patricia Harris thanked and congratulated the new and reelected Officers. She turned the meeting over to the Newly elected Post Commander Gabriel Carr as she handed her the gavel. The Sergeant-at-Arms escorted each officer-elect to their respective station.

     Officers sworn in: Gabriel Carr, Post Commander, Charles Whitaker, 1st Vice Commander, Lloyd Dunn, 2nd Vice Commander. Reelected officers: Michael Parrott, Finance Officer, Donald Debnam, Service Officer, Willie Pulley, Chaplain, Ernest Adams, Sergeant-at-Arms, James Whitaker, Historian and Michael Shaw, Parliamentarian.

Legionnaire Willie Pulley Post Chaplain conducted the offer prayer, and the Post Commander Gabriel Carr closed the meeting.
