On November 7th 2024, the post members and with the help and support of the local and surrounding Home Depot managers and workers took part in placing the American Flag at the graves of all Veterans interred at Carolina Biblical Gardens Cemetery in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Veterans Day honors all of those who have served the country in war or peace — dead or alive — although it's largely intended to thank living veterans for their sacrifices. It was originally called Armistice Day, commemorating the end of World War I.
