On June 18, 2022, the post monthly meeting was called to order, and the order of business was conducted to include a Ceremony for the Installation of Post Officers. We were honored to have guest in attendance. Guest included, Mrs. Patricia Harris, Past District Commander, Past Department Commander and Past Post Commander, Mrs. Lashonda Harris, Past Division III Commander, Post 157 Ladies Auxiliary Unit Members, Mrs. Cathy Gutierrez Auxiliary Unit President, and Mrs. Geneva Langston. Assisted with taking the photos of the events was Ms. Ashante Ramirez, the daughter of Gabriel Carr, 2nd Vice Commander.
     The Installing Officer was Mrs. Patricia Harris, Past District Commander, Past Department Commander, Past Post Commander, and Post 157 member honored the Post by swearing in the newly elected and reelected officers. She took control of the meeting informed the Sergeant-at-arms to bring forward newly elected officers to be installed or reinstalled. She read the Oath of Office to the newly elected officers as they took the pledge to perform faithfully and impartially the duties of the office in The American Legion that they assume. 
     During the member recognition of the program the retiring Post Commander Donald Moses presented The Certificate of Appreciation to his executive board committee members for their outstanding assistance and service which contributed to the advancement of the Post.
