The post members participated in the Annual Veterans Day Parade held in downtown Raleigh, NC. The Master of Ceremony Mrs Lena Tillett anchor/reporter of the local TV station Raleigh WRAL announced the names of all the units and participants as they passed the grandstand on the parade route.
Commander Donald Moses, 2nd Vice Commander James Lansgton and members of Saint Ambrose Episcopal Church visited the grave site of the Post’s name sake, Pvt. Charles T. Norwood who died from his wounds and Lobar Pneumonia on January 17, 1919 making him the first Black solider to be killed from Raleigh, North Carolina during World War I. Pvt. Charles T. Norwood was buried in the Raleigh National Cemetery on August 21, 1921.
The graves of veterans interred at Carolina Biblical Gardens Cemetery Raleigh, NC were flagged with an American flag for Veterans Day.
Veterans Day Service was held at St. Matthew A.M.E Church in Raleigh, NC on 10 November 2019 and members of the post was in attendance.
