The Memorial Day Service was held at Carolina Biblical Gardens Cemetery in Raleigh, NC. It was a partly cloudy and rainy day but the ceremony continued, Legionnaire Donald Debnam presided over the ceremony. Legionnaire James Langston commanded the posting of the colors, Legionnaire Devone Young sang a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem. The Memorial Day Address was given by the guess speaker, Legionnaire Major David L. Donnelly, US Marines Corp Veteran. The graves of veterans interred in the cemetery are flagged with an American flag during Memorial Day. The Boy Scout Troop 392, Garner, NC (First Presbyterian Church of Garner) Scoutmaster: Chris Remaley, Asst. Scoutmaster: David Donnelly (SPL). Scout Present: Ethan Kodey (PL), Kian Miley (PL), Cason Remaley, Joshua Brantham, Justus Lacewell, Peter Lacewell (ASPL), and Andrew Lacewell participated in placing of the flags at the veterans grave sites.
