Legion Supports Veteran Programs. June 15, 2015, Seneca Falls, NY. American Legion Kirk-Casey Post 366, Seneca Falls, Commander Julie Scott presents a check for $1,729 to Brian Kemp, reprehensive of Clear Path for Veterans. The Legion hosted a R.E.D. (Remember Everyone Deployed) Shirt Campaign and chicken barbecue to raise the money. Clear Path is a nonprofit veterans organization that assists veterans and military members through a variety of programs including Dogs to Vets. Wellness, Culinary, etc. Clear Path for Veterans is in Chittenango, N.Y. American Legion Kirk-Casey Post 366 is now hosting its third annual Feed the Future Project (Finger Lakes Times, June 15, 2015).

Commander Scott, has been the driving force behind theses two programs. Along with her committee, she has overseen the Publicity, selection of Shirts, Printing, and arranging selection, overseen cooking of the dinners. On the Feed the Future Project, Commander Scott, working with the local House of Concern, has picked up and arranged the collection of food stuffs to provide breakfast and lunch, to children in need. The food, which is then distributed by the local House of Concern.
