In the Elk's Temple last Friday night the World War Veterans of Seneca Falls and vicinity held their first regular meeting as a local branch of the American Legion and they perfected the formal organization of the Post. George Gargan heads the organization as president. The name that was unanimously chose was "Kirk-Casey Post." Frederick Kirk and Maynard Casey were killed in action while fighting with the 77th Division and their sacrifice supreme will be commemorated as long as the Seneca Falls world war veterans continue their organization
The other officers elected are: first vice-president, Fred Fornesi; second vice- president, Joseph Casey; third vice-president, S.S. Gould, Jr; secretary, Maynard Cory; treasurer, A.R. Kenyon; the executive committee, Arthur Malone, Homer Calland, William Relfe, John Woods and Lewis G. Deal

The Post will meet again tonight and membership applications will be received at that time. There are upwards of fifty regularly enrolled members of the Post now but the officers and Organizers want at least one hundred before they close the charter.
