In 1924, the corner stone for the Post building was laid. The members of the Post decided to have the building erected in the Veterans Memorial Park in Patchogue. The Village of Patchogue agreed with this. Although there have been minor changes to the building over the 90 plus years of its existence, the basic shape and structure have endured. Today, the building continues to be home to Patchogue Post 269.
