
On a crisp Sunday morning closest to Dec 7th, local veterans organizations gathered on the Nashua Main St. bridge to honor those who perished at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii during the Japanese attack in 1941. A 97 year old WWII Veteran, Dick Mohrmann, tosses a ceremonial wreath into the Nashua River assisted by DAV Commander, Paul Boore. Dick, is a dual membber of VFW Post 483 and American Legion Post 3. After the wreath toss, a three-volley rifle salute was fired, followed by the playing of Taps.
