At 9 AM on Sunday, local veterans organizations, led by James E. Coffey Post 3, American Legion, held a wreath laying ceremony at Nashua's Main St. bridge. The invocation was given by Vietnam Veteran, Don Vincent, Adjutant & acting chaplain of Coffey Post 3. The wreath was tossed into the Nashua River by WWII Veteran, Dick Mohrmann and Vietnam Veteran, Herb Townsend. All 3 men hold dual membership in The American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
