The outside deck at Legion Post 3, 11 Court St, catches fire at 11:30 PM and is completely destroyed, also damaging the lounge heat pump beyond repair. Cause of the fire is suspected to be from smoking materials igniting the bedding of a homeless man sleeping under the deck stairs.
